A Year of Patience and Progress

It has been an entire year since my journey took a necessary detour away from competition. Between surgery and countless hours of rehabilitation, my daily reality shifted from chasing hundredths of a second on the track to rebuilding my body from the ground up. Today, I am finally back where I belong.

Lacing up my spikes and stepping onto the track brings a mixture of humility and profound relief. Let’s be completely honest: I am not fast yet. The explosive top-end speed and sharp hurdle rhythm are still a work in progress, but something fundamental has returned—I am genuinely enjoying my sport again. Moving freely without the constant shadow of discomfort is a victory that no stopwatch can measure.

None of this progress happens in a vacuum. My deepest thanks go out to everyone who has been involved in this journey—the medical staff, physios, coaches, partners and supporters who stood by me when the track felt far away. This comeback wouldn't have been possible without you.

We are entering a new training cycle with healthy mechanics, positive momentum, and a clear vision for what lies ahead. The road isn't linear, but the direction is forward.

Never give up.
