Valuable lessons for the future

The indoor season was short this year, with just one race at the Belgian Championship.
A slight discomfort in my calf led me to only participate in the series. We did not want to take any risks for the rest. Despite an average time, the race and the warm-ups allowed us to confirm certain certainties and validate certain impressions:
The technique is there. During the series I did not touch any hurdles, which shows a clean and efficient technique.
My warm-up for the final was very promising , I felt very fast and capable of achieving a high time.

This series also allowed us to identify the details on which to focus in order to be ready for the summer deadlines. We have gained a lot of confidence.
In addition, the publication of the qualifying minima for the European Championship in Bergen (Norway) 13.84 and the Universiade in Bochum (Germany) 13.73 seconds over 110 m hurdles, reinforces my motivation.
Before starting my preparation for the summer season, I am giving myself a well-deserved week of rest with a trip to Porto. I will then join a training camp under more clement skies, ready to capitalize on the lessons of this winter to shine in the next competitions.
